Gratitude
David Zelman: I met Dr. David Zelman in 1991 when I was a single parent working in Boulder, CO at Rocky Flats nuclear weapons facility. I hired David to work with my team to help people with vastly different professional backgrounds be able to communicate more effectively. Through his program, I learned so much about myself and how to lead people that I began to study the art and science of communication at a much deeper level. I owe a world of gratitude to the Transitions Institute and to David– as a friend and professional. To learn more about David and the Transitions Institute, please visit transitionsinstitute.com/#/0.
Dorothy Espiau: I owe a lifetime of gratitude to Dorothy Espiau for the absolute treasure that she is to the world and the people that know her. I would not be able to reach the people I teach if it were not for Dorothy. Her lifetime of work never ceases to amaze me and it impacts the quality of my life everyday. The people of lululemon: To the people of lululemon, I am grateful everyday that I get to be part of the social experiment that we are participating in. The experiment is putting our own lives, goals and dreams first and trusting that all of this will guide the companies that we are leaders in. Nia: My physical and emotional body, in particular, owe a world of thanks to the Nia community for giving me a place to work out, recover myself, and find answers– all within a 60 minute timeframe. Being a Nia instructor influences my ability to teach and to move and to find grace in my life and I'm grateful to Debbie and Carlos Rosas (nianow.com) for creating it and especially to my own local community at Nia Santa Monica.
